Statement of Faith

Holy Trinity Bible Church believes and stands with the following tenet of faith.
  • JESUS CHRIST IS THE CENTRALITY OF OUR FAITH

  • We believe that JESUS CHRIST is the Incarnated God, Son of God, the Lamb of God and soon and coming King. Jesus Christ is the defining factor of our faith. His life, death and resurrection is the fulfillment of the law. Therefore, all the claims of Christianity about Him separates us from all other false religion and philosophy in the world.

    • The Virgin Birth
      • Luke 1:30-31
      • Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.

      • Luke 1:34-35
      • Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” 35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

      • Isaiah 7:14
      • Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

    • The Son of God
      • John 3:15-18
      • that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

      • 1 John 4:14
      • And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

      • 1 John 5:11-12
      • And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

      • John 20:30-31
      • And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

    • The Incarnation of Jesus Christ
    • The incarnation is the belief that Jesus Christ, who is both God and Lord Himself in the Divine Trinity, became fully Man and came down to our earth in the flesh so He could go through the cross to be the Lamb of God who will take away the sins of the world.

      • 1 John 4:1-4
      • Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

    • The Death and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ
      • Isaiah 53:5
      • But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

      • John 19:30, 34
      • 30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
34 But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out.

      • 1 Corinthians 15:12-18
      • Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. 14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. 15 Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. 16 For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. 17 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! 18 Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

      • John 11:25
      • Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

      • Luke 24:46-47
      • Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

      • Acts 1:1-3
      • The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2 until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, 3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

    • The Only Way to Eternal life With God the Father
      • Acts 4:12
      • Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

      • Psalm 2:4-9
      • He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.
5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure:
6 “Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.”
7 “I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.
8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.
9 You shall [d]break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a potter’s vessel.’ ”

      • Luke 1:32-33
      • He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”

      • Daniel 7:13-14
      • “I was watching in the night visions, And behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, And they brought Him near before Him. 14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one Which shall not be destroyed.

      • Isaiah 9:6-7
      • For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”6 And He said to me, “It is done!
